Still applying for jobs, best characteristics:
A base to make me feel secure along with many bonus or commission opportunities that would allow me to earn additional money should I be able to outperform the average. (Hopeful total (50-60), realistic total (30-40))
Ability for relatively quick internal promotion (less than 2 years)
Opportunity for travel
So far very little luck. This BA from Hopkins isn't all it is cracked up to be.
Also wondering about credit cards, it seems to be a catch 22 on many fronts.
First the only people card companies make money on are those who pay their bills late.
But the people who pay their bills late and have little credit and the least likely to be approved.
Even if they are, the people who pay late are the most likely to default and pay no money to the company.
But maybe I am just bitter about getting rejected for a card. I guess I will have to keep applying, while also looking at secured cards and the possibility of having a co-signer.
Sigh, its not like I need to spend a lot of money, but I would like to begin building my credit better late than never.
I am kinda broke here, but in a way it is kinda nice to know I can make it. Granted my rent has been paid and I grocery shopped a while ago, but in previous months, I would spend $300-$500 on going out getting food, magazine, movies, etc. I guess I am forced to cut back now, but it is nice knowing that I have gone 2 weeks spending $0 and simply using up the food in my fridge. (You would be amazed how many things you can make with pasta, chicken, seasoning and spices)
So my future salary, looking lower and lower everyday, is still intimidating, but not as scary as before.
Hoping I can solidify a job soon so I can work on housing and move on with this thing called life and growing up.
Even though I would really rather just remain a kid forever.
